Accessible and ergonomic . It is suitable for children, who can reach the books independently without the help of their parents. Consistent with the principles of Maria Montessori’s teaching, the child will thus be able to organize his own play and learning space, gaining confidence in his own movements and abilities. It is easily moved from one place to another in the room.

Robustness and lightness . The two side walls end with two wide-plan legs that allow the bookshelf to rest on a large surface, making it stable and safe. The legs also have a recess that allows the bookshelf to be placed close to the wall, compensating for the space of the skirting board.
The bookshelf offers stability and solidity while not exceeding 11 kilos in weight. It is also simple to assemble: the side walls act as a load-bearing structure on which to screw the shelves.
They have few screws, a screwdriver will be enough to mount it.

Design and safety. We give space to wood and its characteristics. The typical grain of birch is the ideal piece of furniture to create cheerful and serene play and study environments. The bookshelf can have different colors, each with its own themes that recall the animal or natural kingdom.
The design is made of soft curves, furthermore all corners and edges are rounded to avoid any kind of injury to the child.

Washable surfaces.  We have treated the Montessori bookshelf with a transparent and washable water-based paint, so that the tops can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.
