0 Co2 in the atmosphere! The Smile Bench is biocompatible because it is produced only with solar energy, non-toxic paints and FSC certified wood.

Robustness and lightness. We have patented a bearing structure in elephant foot, which allows to support weights and workloads up to over 300 kilos. This structure gives solidity, stability and safety, while not exceeding 5 kilos in weight, making it safe and easy to move independently by children. It is also simple to assemble: the legs work with the elephant joint, patented by Il Pianeta delle Ideae, easy to assemble and with only 4 screws in total: a screwdriver will be enough to assemble it.

Ergonomic and portable. The smile on the backrest is an ergonomic handle suitable for children which allows them to move the bench without the help of their parents. Consistent with the principles of Montessori teaching, the child will thus be able to organize his own play and learning space, gaining confidence in his own movements and abilities.

Design and safety.
We give space to wood and its characteristics. The typical grain of birch is the ideal piece of furniture to create cheerful and serene play and study environments. The seat and backrest can be in different colors, each with its own themes that recall the animal kingdom, or natural.
All corners and edges are rounded to prevent the child from any type of injury.

Washable surfaces.
We have treated our benches with a transparent and washable water-based paint, so that the top can be cleaned with the most common detergent products and a soft cloth.

Once the children have grown up, the bench can be used on the terrace or as a plant holder or at the entrance as a shoe rest.
