*WHAT IS IT?* It is a board game for two and is played mainly in Mauritania.
*HOW TO PLAY?* It is a game for 2 players. It has a rectangular base of six squares by five. A fascinating one-on-one challenge made up of strategy and tactics. Whoever eats the opponent’s antepenultimate piece wins.

It most likely derives from the Alquerque scheme, whose rules were found at the temple of Kurna in Thebes, in Upper Egypt, and would date back to 1400 BC.
